INTRODUCTION TO ADDICTION AND RECOVERY
This is a course which has been presented at HUTECH University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to psychotherapists and trainee psychotherapists and can be adapted for various learner groups.
OVERVIEW:
Session 1 Concepts, causes, and forms of addiction
Session 2 The progression of addiction, the role of family and friends
Session 3 Neuroscience aspects of addiction
Session 4 Factors related to recovery from addiction
Session 5 Models and treatment options, how to successfully support addicted and recovering people

This is an experiential workshop which introduces participants to the practice of Active Imagination as formulated by CG Jung
Introduction to Mandalas
This is an experiential workshop which introduces participants to the history and practice of mandala-making and meditation
Psychodynamic and Psychotherapy Theory Tuition
These sessions offer individual and tuition on various topics and include experiential activities to help digest learning. The sessions are designed for Psychotherapists and for Student Psychotherapists. Topics include: Academic Writing and Research, Critical Thinking, Psychodynamic Theory, Psychoanalytic Theory, Object Relations Theory, Jungian Theory, 'Abnormal Psychology', Severe Mental Health Issues, Understanding Psychopathology
